The Third Annual Hudsonville Balloon Days Kicks Off this Weekend, To Feature Zeigler Hot Air Balloon

Hudsonville, Michigan (June 15, 2023) - The 2023 Annual Hudsonville Balloon Days event kicks off this weekend from Friday, June 16 through Saturday, June 17, 2023. Now in its third year, the free, two-day event has become a big community favorite drawing large crowds of people of all ages due to all of the activities available for everyone to enjoy.

This year parking is located at Unity Christian High School and is available with a $10 donation. For added convenience, free shuttles will be running back and forth from Unity Christian to Georgetown Christian Reformed Church and Hudsonville Christian School. Please keep in mind that parking on 48th street is prohibited this year. 

As always, guests can expect a multitude of family-friendly activities for everyone to enjoy including delicious food options for even the pickiest eaters, craft vendors and trading cards for extra fun, exciting live music by Hark Up!; plus, the show stylings of MC Mr. Jim Engel on the mic. And of course tons and tons of hot air balloons, including Zeigler Auto Group's very own balloon piloted by world-class pilot and director of Hudsonville Balloon Days, Derrick Jones.

"Hot Air Ballooning has been a passion of mine since I was 8 years old. The Hudsonville Balloon Days is the 3rd Hot Air Balloon event I've created in Michigan. All the events were created to be able to share our sport with the community with Family Fun in mind. As a team we stick to our grassroots of Hot Air Ballooning and make every event memorable through our Balloons, our crew and our community Sponsors," said Jones, who has also been a member of the Balloon Federation of America since 1995, and the Fédération Aéronautique Internationale since 2011.
