EY's annual Entrepreneur of the Year Award program recognizes entrepreneurs across multiple regions, countries and the world who are creating products, launching new companies, opening new markets and fueling job creation in communities.

Individuals are nominated by an independent judging panel, which comprises past award winners, private capital investors and regional business leaders.

Each nomination form is evaluated on a number of factors, including entrepreneurial spirit, innovation, financial performance, strategic direction, market impact, personal integrity and social responsibility.

The 2015 Entrepreneur of the Year Award is meant to encourage entrepreneurial activity and honor those who have inspired others with their leadership.

EY runs regional, national and global awards programs in more than 145 cities across roughly 60 countries.
